If I Could Fly...If I could fly,
I'd try and touch the sky.
I'd spin and dive,
thankful to be alive.
I'd sail and soar
through life's every open door.

And as I'd coast on the breeze,
relaxed and at ease,
loving the feeling of the wind on my wings,
I'd smile and say
"What a beautiful day!"
before lazily, happily, flying away.

Do Not EnterDo not enter my crazy mind.
You would be shocked by what you'd find.
For it is where all of my dreams are kept
next to the few ideas I have left.

Ideas for things I want to do,
things I feel I shouldn't do,
things to make my tension ease,
things that will not be a breeze,
things I wish I would've done,
things that would put me on the run,
things I simply can't explain,
things that are not at all tame,
things to help me reach the sky,
things about that special guy,
things to prove just who I am,
things that would leave you thinking, "Damn,
this girl isn't as she seems
and she has got some freaky dreams!"

You have been warned,

There is no us, FateIt is the quiet sneaking stalker
that shadows your every step.
It is the lock that keeps you caged,
and drowns you in its depth.

It is your ever present goal
you will eventually meet.
It is your slaver and your master,
its words dripping with deceit.

Some say it is a blessing
to have life set in stone,
but I just find it smothering;
why won't it leave me all alone?

Don't control where I end up;
I'll make it there myself.

Don't make my decisions for me;
I'll gut you for your pelt.

Don't force me in one direction.

The Voices in my HeadAll these voices in my head,
I know that they are me,
but they sometimes make me question
my very sanity.

They tell me something's wrong,
but they tell me that it's right.
They tell me to give up,
and then they tell me I should fight.

They bet I'll tell the truth,
Yet they bet that I will lie.
They tell me I should live,
But then they tell me I should die.

Back and forth they banter,
always contradicting.
And it is so confusing
'cause their messages are mixing.

I don't know what to do
when I hear one of the voices say,
"Take this path and you will live
to write another day."

Because a second voice will tell me
not to trus

ConfusionHow can I make sense of
what I feel inside
when my emotions are stronger
than the ever pounding tide?

I know I feel something,
of that I am sure,
but is it just friendship?
Or is it something more?

I know not what love feels like
nor what gives it its spark,
I just know that it's treasured;
held close to the heart.

Yet a small voice inside me
has a mind all its own
and tells me I love you,
though I enjoy being alone.

I miss you a lot,
miss your laugh and your smile,
and I've noticed without you
I've been down for a while.

The world holds little excitement

Eragon Cover Sketch - Saphiraby ~Kurosaki224

This is a drawing I did of Saphira, Eragon's dragon from Christopher Paolini's awesome series, the Inheritance Cycle. I was just sitting at home over the summer, bored stiff, and then I looked at the cover of Eragon, and decided to see if I could draw it at least semi-recognizably.

i recognized this straight away~
i drew the cover of this book one time too! but like years ago and i think yours is better xD at least its well proportioned lol
mine came out disproportionate lol
but yeah this is totally awesome~

yeah but lol i mean the neck came out deformed xD
like i got the head pretty good but the neck came out weird and to skinny to support such a large head lol

Funny, I'm reading the series right now and when I saw this drawing I smiled thinking of the book ^.^
It's a cool drawing

Could you some more shading, make it darker and all..
But its cool

Yeah, I could add some more shading, but I think that my scanner lightened it up a lot more than it really is. I've only just learned how to even use it, so there's probably a setting somewhere on there that this tech-unsavvy girl just hasn't found LOL XD

The same thing happens to me! >.<
It makes all my drawings appear lighter than they really are .-.
One option is to edit the already scanned drawing to make it look darker though

...I just noticed my typo in the previous comment of mine
I meant to say 'Could ((use)) some more shading, make it darker and all'
